Together with you we will establish exactly what kind of horse you wish to purchase and what specific qualities you are looking for in this particular horse. We will also establish in what geographical area this search should take place: for example North America, the eastern United States or Europe, etc, ect.
After you and "House of the Friesians" have completed the draft of a contract, in which "House of the Friesian" is given the task of finding you the Friesian horse you are looking for, the objective of "House of the Friesians" will be to find several horses that meet your criteria, so you can make your selection from all horses offered. * Not included are any travel expenses occurred while visiting a horse or while transporting a horse to a medical clinic.
If you would like to sell a Friesian studbook horse, "House of the Friesians" will send a qualified staff member to visit the horse, with the purpose of drafting an appraisal report and to make a video impression of the horse. After this you can establish your asking price . The asking price may differ from the appraised value given to the horse by "House of the Friesians". Next to presenting a potential buyer with the asking price ,"House of the Friesians" will also present the appraised value report made by "House of the Friesians". If after the drafting of the appraisal report and after establishing an asking price, the seller and "House of the Friesians" come to the agreement that "House of the Friesians" will be contracted in the sale of the horse, "House of the Friesians" through net-working, promotion and advertising will actively market the horse.

Certain circumstances may call for an x-ray examination; in which case the cost of the exam will be charged to you.
The above includes the cost of mediation between seller and potential-buyer(s) however, transportation cost for the horse in question is not included.
For the benefit of insurance companies, underwriters, potential-buyers or owners of Friesian horses "House of the Friesians" can provide independent appraisal reports. Customers need to take note that appraisal reports are only momentary based and reflect the value of the horse at the particular moment that the appraisal is made, market circumstances will also influence value.
The cost involved with preparation of an appraisal report are as follows:

Certain circumstances may call for an x-ray examination; in which case the cost of the exam will be forwarded to you.
In the case that a standard appraisal report of "House of the Friesians" proves to be too limited for either the buyer or the seller, "House of the Friesians" can provide an extended report. In an extended report 220 different aspects of the horse are evaluated, from the physical aspect of the horse, to the character, to the level of training received and what level the horse has reached so far, in dressage and driving. A complete x-ray examination of the legs is included in this report. To prepare an extended report it is required that the horse stays at "House of the Friesians" for at least a four week period.
